Sea Of Sound
Pale Saints - Sea Of Sound taken from the album 'The Comforts Of Madness' released on the 4AD Record Label. The album contained a cover called 'Fell From The Sun' by US based indie rock band Opal, check it out at the link above. The band was eventually to morph into Indie Band Mazzy Star.
Pale Saints were formed in Leeds in 1987 and disbanded in 1996. The lineup was:
- Chris Cooper (drums)
- Graeme Naysmith (guitar)
- Ian Masters (bass, vocals, 1987-93)
- Ashley Horner (guitar, 1989-90)
- Meriel Barham (guitar, vocals, 1990-94)
- Colleen Browne (bass, 1993-94)
Ashley Horner was originally with other Leeds based band Edsel Auctioneer and Meriel Barham originally vocalist for Lush.
They were signed up to 4AD after their first Live London gig.
