Yeovil Indie Pop The Chesterf!elds were formed in Yeovil in 1984 and were with Subway Organization Records until about 1987 when Simon Barber from the band set up the 'Household Records' label. I Know Someone...

...Who knows someone, who knows Alan McGee quite well... The Pooh Sticks From the Peel Session recorded in 1988. The song was released on the Welsh Indie Label Fierce Recordings in 1988. The Pooh Sticks were from Swansea and as well as melodic jangly guitars they also had plenty of tongue in cheek humour with witty titles and lyrics (as per above).
