Nestling between Hammersmith, Fulham and Chelsea lies wonderful Putney. The weather changed and from the recent grey and showery affair the day turned out to be a sun-fest. It's that time of year upon us again, the shops get busier as people scurry about frantically looking for last minute gifts, the supermarkets are packed with hordes of desperate shoppers all trying to buy up most of the stuff on the shelves 'in case they run out' over the couple of days that is the festive period, the self serve checkouts are at breaking point. Kids get excited, parents get stressed in trying to sort out food, presents etc.

So, I took a recent short break up to the jolly old West Midlands visiting sunny Worcester (which was indeed sunny by the time I got there after a soggy start to the journey from London in the morning) and what a lovely city it is! Well, I guess it's that time of year again and as ever it comes around quick, the clocks go back an hour, nights draw in, the weather cools and before we know it Halloween is upon us and Winter follows hot on its heels (mind you there was Halloween stuff in the shops getting ready for it way back in August, no doubt the Christmas stuff will be hitting the shelves as soon as Halloween and Fireworks Nights are over!🙄).
