Sympathy (Don't Be Taken In)
Expelaires, 'Sympathy'. Released on The Rockburgh Records Label in 1980.

The Mission and Beyond...
The band were formed in 1978 in Leeds by Craig Adams (later to go on to be the first bass player for The Sisters Of Mercy), also joining Wayne Hussey to form The Mission. Whilst other core members of the band Dave Wolfenden was to later go on and form Red Lorry Yellow Lorry and Grape (Paul Gregory) went on to form 3000 Revs and Groovin' With Lucy. Have to say the single has a touch of Teardrop Explodes and The Bunnymen about it as does their first single below. Which leads us on to...
...And Then The Cracks Appeared
After supporting Echo & The Bunnymen and The Teardrop Explodes they were signed to the Zoo Record Label to release their first single 'To See You'.
Like Garlic Bread....It's A Taste Of The Futurama!
In 2021 they played live in Liverpool on 11th and 12th September. You can catch the link to the Futurama Festival here and check out the full lineups . I have to say the line up for the festival looked to be a bit of a post punk heaven! artists such as The Chameleons, Clock DVA, A Certain Ratio and Section 25 to name but a few.
